Benjamin Schall is the President and Chief Executive Officer, and Trustee of Seritage. Prior to becoming CEO and President, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Rouse Properties, Inc. (NYSE: RSE) from 2012 to 2015. At Rouse, he oversaw the redevelopment and operations of a $2.5 billion portfolio of 35 regional malls, totaling 25 million square feet across the country. Prior to that, Mr. Schall was Senior Vice President with Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE: VNO). At Vornado, his responsibilities included overseeing Vornado’s suburban retail shopping center business, consisting of 18 million square feet in 140 assets representing value of over $3 billion.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Brian Dickman is Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Seritage. Prior to joining Seritage, Mr. Dickman was Chief Financial Officer at Agree Realty (NYSE: ADC), where he was responsible for all corporate finance, capital markets, accounting, financial reporting, treasury and investor relations activities. Prior to that role, he was a real estate investment banker covering public REITs and other real estate companies at Lehman Brothers, Barclays and RBC Capital Markets.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & Chief Operating Officer
Kenneth Lombard is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Seritage. Prior to joining Seritage’s executive team, Mr. Lombard served on Seritage’s Board of Trustees and was President of MacFarlane Partners where he was responsible for its real estate investment management business and served on the firm’s investment and senior management committees.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL COUNSEL
Matthew Fernand is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Seritage. Prior to joining Seritage, Mr. Fernand was a partner in Sidley Austin LLP’s Real Estate Group, where he practiced from 2005 to 2015 and focused on the financing, development, acquisition and disposition, and leasing of commercial properties and the formation of real estate joint ventures and partnerships.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF LEASING AND OPERATIONS
Mary Rottler is the Executive Vice President of Leasing and Operations of Seritage. Prior to joining Seritage, Ms. Rottler served as the Vice President of Real Estate at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., (NYSE: WMT). In this capacity she was responsible for overseeing all facets of new store development in the eastern half of the United States and delivered approximately 350 new stores per year. Prior to that time she was the Vice President for Realty Supplier Management and Compliance. She joined Wal-Mart in 2001.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION
James Bry is the Executive Vice President, Development and Construction of Seritage. Prior to joining Seritage, Mr. Bry was the Senior Vice President, Development & Construction at Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE: VNO) from 2006 to 2015 where he oversaw development and redevelopment of approximately six million square feet of its shopping malls, community centers and urban retail properties.
Senior Vice President Leasing and Development
Maurice Funes is Senior Vice President, Leasing and Development. He previously served as Vice President of Real Estate for AMC Theatres, where he was responsible for acquisitions, renovations and procurement of new theatres. Prior to that, he led the eastern half of the US Real Estate division for JCPenney, where he spent 15 years in various positions including store expansions, new store growth, renovations and disposition of non-core real estate holdings, and managed a portfolio of more than 50M square feet.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT DEVELOPMENT
Paul D’Arelli is Senior Vice President, Development at Seritage where he oversees development across the portfolio. Prior to joining Seritage, Paul was President of National Development Advisors, Inc. where he provided development advisory services to Sears Holdings for three years focusing on redevelopment of its larger scale development opportunities across the country. Before then, he was development counsel and partner at Greenberg Traurig where he was actively involved in the execution of major complex mixed use redevelopment projects in the Southeast.
Senior Vice President Leasing
Meghan Kruger is Senior Vice President of Leasing for Seritage Growth Properties. Prior to joining Seritage, Ms. Kruger served as Vice President of Leasing for Acadia Realty Trust, responsible for overseeing the street retail portfolio, including assets in Manhattan, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Greenwich, CT and Washington, D.C. Prior to that, she leased and managed a portfolio of retail centers in southern California for Lewis Retail Centers.
Senior Vice President Development
Chris Mrozinski is the Senior Vice President, Development at Seritage where he oversees retail development across the portfolio. Prior to joining Seritage, Mr. Mrozinski was Vice President at Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (NYSE: PEI) where he oversaw the development and redevelopment of regional shopping malls and power centers. Mr. Mrozinski has developed retail, office, and medical office properties and was actively involved in the entitlement, leasing, development, public financing and construction of these projects.
Senior Vice President & Real Estate Counsel
Nino Cammalleri is Senior Vice President & Real Estate Counsel at Seritage. He serves on the management team and oversees the legal side of leasing activity while also contributing on development and land use matters. Prior to joining Seritage, Mr. Cammalleri was a partner at the law firm of Cole Schotz where his practice focused on the acquisition, disposition, leasing and development of commercial and mixed use properties.
Senior Vice President of Leasing
Blair Polachek is Senior Vice President of Leasing at Seritage Growth Properties. Prior to joining Seritage, he served as Senior Vice President of Big Box/Anchor Leasing at Rouse Properties, Inc. (NYSE: RSE) from 2012 to 2018 where he oversaw and managed the large format leasing team and leased regional shopping malls coast to coast. Prior to that, Mr. Polachek handled large format leasing at RED Development for 8 years specializing in lifestyle and power centers.
